“Martisor Antreprenor” – teaching children to do business

The spring started this year with a special event: "Martisor Antreprenor" (1 March 2015, Bucharest), organized of Step by Step School in Bucharest. “Martisor Antreprenor” took place at Cărtureşti Vernona, one of the most renowned cultural and educational venues in Bucharest. Children from Step by Step School presented and sold over 2.000 martisoare created by them, within an entrepreneurship project, which made them develop and implement their own business plans.

In order to motivate and inspire children, the „Marţişor antreprenor” project also involved two key opinion leaders in the entrepreneurial field – Mihaela Perianu (managing partner AIMS & Dale Carnegie Romania) and Claudiu Vrânceanu (editor in chief wall-street.ro). Days before the sale, they  visited the Step by Step School and talked with the children on their business plans, guiding them on how to sell, promote and obtain profit from their first business.

OMA Vision designed the concept and implemented the communication for “Martisor Antreprenor” mixing business, educational and creative perspectives, while keeping a focus on children and their ability to do learn and take leadership for their dreams.  With the obtained profit, children will buy games and things they had already chosen and set as objectives, during the project.
