Bucharest Forum Energy 2014 to be held in Bucharest, on June 4-5, 2014 is organized by the Aspen Institute Romania in partnership with the Government of Romania’s Ministry of Economy - Department of Energy, with the support of ExxonMobil, OMV Petrom, the German Marshall Fund of the US Black Sea Trust and the National Development Committee.

 

Among the speakers are Razvan Nicolescu, Minister Delegate for Energy; Michael Rühle, Head Energy Security Section, Emerging Security Challenges Division, NATO; Linda DuCharme, Vice President (Europe, Russia, Caspian) ExxonMobil Gas and Power Company; Mariana Gheorghe, CEO, OMV Petrom; Robin Dunnigan, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Diplomacy U.S. Department of State; Jaroslav Neverovič, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Lithuania; Tudor Copaci, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Moldova; Mihnea Constantinescu, Ambassador at large, Special representative for Energy Security of the Romanian Government.

 

 

The key objective of Bucharest Energy Forum is to offer an annual, high level convening platform for private and public stakeholders in the Energy Sector in the Black Sea Region. An inclusive, educated conversation with key sector leaders and experts provides policymakers and investors with valuable, accurate and actionable information and offers a clear vision for decision makers.
