Creative Bucharest, promoting Romanians’ creativity and values

OMA Vision created a special and original concept within the communication strategy for George Enescu Festival (1-28 September), the largest international cultural event organized by Romania.

Creative Bucharest was designed to make organizations and private persons participate to the magic of the Festival, by projects promoting creativity and values. Participants: the Ministry of Justice, NGOs, media outlets, artists, pastry producer etc.

The projects were selected through an open public appeal launched in June 2013 to which public institutions, NGOs, independent artists have responded.

OMA Vision's concept was to bring the magic of the Enescu Festival from the concert halls into the public space, by transferring the values of the Festival into a dynamic cultural space during the Festival (1-28 September).

Key locations in Bucharest were reinvented through urban art and visual elements and came to life with the participation of the public. Creative Bucharest was created as a public statement of those who are saturated with gray nuances and aggressive tones in the public space and those who take responsibility towards generating a change in society through the creative act.
