Positive parenting site was launched, part of our campaign for Save the Children Romania

Internationally acclaimed Romanian writer Mircea Cartarescu joined the "Label-free children" campaign that OMA Vision has designed and  implements for Save the Children Romania until Octomber this year.

On April, 23 we launched the positive parenting site "Părinți buni"/"Good parents" and the positive parenting handbook of the Save the Children,  within an out of the box event, hosted by the historical building of  - The Central University Library "Carol I". Representatives of Save the Children Romania were present alongside Mr. Cartarescu, as well as parents, teachers and bloggers who joined our campaign.

"We don't own our child. He is like a foreign traveler that stops at our door. We have to treat him with dignity and honesty, just as if it were somebody we were opening up to. If we don't, it means we have no idea about raising our own child", Mircea Cartarescu pointed out.

With a media coverage ranging from the most important television stations in Romania and the top quality daily newspapers, the event is the second step in the communication strategy OMA Vision is managing for Save the Children Romania to fight violence against children.

OMA Vision has creatively designed a campaign entitled "Label-free children", inviting adults - parents, educators, decision makers - to free their minds of prejudice and make a difference in children's life. The campaign is both provideing awareness about the consequences of violence on the evolution of the child, including as an adult, and tools to change the educational approach: positiv parentig, public policies, community support.
