The external promotion campaign for the International "George Enescu" Festival was launched on October 31st 2012, within a press conference held by Ioan Holender - Artistic Director of the Festival, Victor Opaschi - State Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Adrian Iorgulescu - Director of the Composers' Union, and Ovidiu Miculescu, General Director of the National Broadcasting Society, and festival's official partners. Within this first communication stage, CNN and Euronews broadcast promotional spots; the programme of the festival and the rules of the contest are communicated to specialised audiences.


The 2013 "George Enescu" International Festival will take place between 1st-28th of September and will include over a 150 events gathering some of the world's most renowned orchestras and artists, such as: Royal Concertgebouw Amsterdam / Maris Jansons, Staatskapelle Berlin / Daniel Barenboim, Orchestra dell'Accademia Santa Cecilia di Roma / Antonio Pappano, Orchestre de Paris / Näme Järvi, London Philharmonic Orchestra / Vladimir Jurowski, Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra, Radio Berlin / Marek Janovski, Royal Stockholm / Sakari Oramo, Münchener Philharmoniker / Symion Bychkov, Saint Martin in the Fields / Sir Nevil Marriner, Evgeny Kissin, Muray Perahia, Pinchas Zuckermann, Russian National Orchestra / Michail Pletnev, Fazil Say, Turls Mörk. Romania's representative orchestras will also attend the festival: Horia Andreescu, Cristian Mandeal,"George Enescu" Filarmonic, Cluj Filarmonic, Iaşi and Timişoara, Bucharest National Opera, National Youth Orchestra and many others.


OMA VISION will elaborate and coordinate the communication strategy for the festival, with the objective of consolidating its position of Romania's cultural brand.
