The Power of Branding Strategy: Connecting a Diverse Community Through Shared Values
Heading towards its 20th anniversary, the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania (CCIFER), the second leading Chamber of Commerce in Romania in terms of membership, wanted to redefine its position on the market to better showcase the complexity of the organization, its status as an influential community, and to assert the common denominator for development among its very diverse members, while opening a new, strategic perspective on the future.
Following their partnership in earmarked projects in the previous years, the collaboration between OMA Vision and CCIFER in designing and implementing the brand positioning and communication strategy came naturally. OMA Vision focused on how to best substantiate the sense of community and the added value of belonging. The strategy designed helped CCIFER’s people understand that, however diverse they are as organizations and interests on the market, members matter to one another and the group, and they share a common mission and core values, which OMA Vision helped to define. It coached them on how to connect in a more efficient and relevant way, to help the whole community to thrive and provide value to stakeholders.
A twofold outcome was obvious before long: the new branding and communication strategy contributed to both an increased membership and a greater involvement of all members in CCIFER’s decision-making and development process, together with a daring reach-out to other organizations for new partnership opportunities.
OMA Vision continued the collaboration with CCIFER, providing strategic communication and PR support on projects, events, and campaigns, helping the organization to broaden its relevance in the market.
We have worked with Oana and her team on several strategic projects for CCIFER.
